RASPBERRY AND PEAR PANCAKES
Eggs are the perfect ingredient for kids to cook with! But how do you get your little ones to crack and NOT explode the egg? I learnt the hard (& messy) way, but you don’t have to! Here’s how lovely…
- Set your child up at the bench in front of a bowl.
- Ask them to (gently but firmly) tap the egg on the edge of the bowl until they hear a crack.
- Then place the egg over the bowl and at the crack open the shell so the egg falls into the bowl.
- BONUS TIP: use a wet finger to remove the inevitable shell that falls in. You’re welcome.
Now that your child’s mastered egg cracking, get them into the kitchen to whip up a batch of these EPIC RASPBERRY PEAR PANCAKES. These pancakes are sooooooooooo light and fluffy all thanks to separating the eggs and whipping those whites. Seriously, how amazing are eggs?!?
