the healthy home made muesli you must try


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups (135 grams) rolled (traditional) oats
  • 1/2 cup (75 grams) cashews
  • 1/2 cup (45 grams) flaked almonds
  • 1/2 cup (50 grams) shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 7 medjool dates, finely chopped
  • fresh fruit and yoghurt, to serve

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius (350 F) and line an oven tray with baking paper.  Place the oats, cashews, almonds and coconut onto the prepared tray.  Drizzle over the coconut oil and maple syrup and stir and squish the mixture together until evenly coated.  Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and lightly toasted.  Allow to cool.  Add dates and serve with alongside a little fresh fruit and yoghurt.
