smoothie bowls


Description

Note* although we made 2 smoothie bowls – these portions were HUGE.  We ended up splitting 1 bowl into 3 serves and popped the remaining bowl into a freezer safe container for later.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (300 grams) banana, frozen
  • 1 1/2 cups (250 grams) mango, frozen
  • 1 1/2 cups (250 grams) rockmelon, frozen
  • 1 cup (130 grams) raspberries, frozen
  • fresh raspberries, blueberries and shredded coconut, to decorate

Instructions

  1. Place the banana, mango and rockmelon into a blender jug.  Turn on blender – with motor running add 1/3 cup (80 mls) water to help the fruit start to blend.  Blitz until smooth (stirring occasionally if needed).  Add raspberries and blitz again until smooth.  Pour into bowls, top with fresh raspberries, blueberries and shredded coconut.  Serve immediately.
